Long-term substitutes more than 20 days in a single assignment receive a rate of $150/day.
Building Substitutes $130/day and Building Tutors $130/day.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead Instructor in the classroom
- Implements existing lesson plans to ensure the integrity of academic time
and motivate students to learn and participate
- Assign reasonable tasks and homework to students in accordance with the
School District’s lesson plans
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and
appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
Substitute Teacher Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, any major acceptable
